Who is a Muslim Woman

A Muslim woman has about 50 emotions, all from the heart;

She starts her day by seeing to others first then runs on black coffee and leftovers;

She has a lap that is large enough to hold three children at one time and that disappears when she stands up;

She has a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee, to cries of attention, to a broken heart;

However busy she is with her own things, she has her priority set to help others first because she is a Muslim woman;

She has six pairs of hands to do all the works expected of her and ones she does on her own.

She has three pairs of eyes: one pair of eyes are to see through the closed door as she asks her children what they are doing even though she already knows. Another pair in the back of her head to see what she needs to know even though no one thinks she is “looking”. And the third pair are in the front of her head. They are for looking at a teary child and saying that she understands and loves him or her without even saying a single word.

A Muslm woman heals herself when she is sick without complaining;

She can take care of her family even while she is sick;

She can feed a family of six on a pound of hamburger and can get a nine year old to stand in the shower!

She is soft and same time also tough to endure or accomplish situations. She is able to think, to reason, and negotiate.

It can take only a single rose on a long stem to make her day, to relax her tired mind;

On her cheeks, a Muslim woman can have a tear. The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her disappointment, her pain, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride.

This is a Muslim woman and she is no different from a non-muslim woman because after all –  she is a WOMAN.
